The Coming Battle

A few years ago, I applied a scripture to the tenacity of our push to expand our center and our services;

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” John 9:4.

We were given a window of opportunity that allowed us to make great strides toward protecting the unborn and we grabbed that opportunity with passion. God gave us His vision and we worked it while it was day.

In just 5 years, we moved into a large and professional building that was purchased paid in full, prepared for and received accreditation with Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Clinics AAAHC that legitimizes us as a professionally run health clinic, hired a full-time Nurse Practitioner, and expanded our medical services. We also fine-tuned every aspect of the clinic and redesigned how we counsel women in order to have a greater impact.

Now, national and state changes in administration threaten to shut the window of opportunity. I fully expect pro-abortion groups, emboldened by recent elections, to push back harder than ever before. One of their targets will most likely be pregnancy centers.

God prepared us for a darker time. He gave us the sense of urgency to fortify ourselves for what may be to come. He provided for us in 2020 through the challenges of a pandemic and He will do the same as we face new challenges. Please pray that we will stay strong and resolute as we continue to be a voice of hope, help, and truth despite the opposition.
