Frequently Asked Questions

How far is the walk?

The walk is 2 miles roundtrip. We will be walking from the parking lot at First Care Women’s clinic to the Planned Parenthood, which will be closed, on Cobb Parkway and back.

Is this a protest march?

No, this is a prayer and praise walk. Planned Parenthood will be closed the day of the event.

Do I have to collect the money?

No, you do not have to collect any money. Sponsors can pay online, or we will collect their pledge via their preferred payment method. If a sponsor does hand you cash or a check, please bring it to the clinic as soon as possible.

What if I can't come to the walk?

That’s okay! You can still stand for life by fundraising. Register now or call to receive more information. If you would like to walk at another time, we encourage you to walk through your neighborhood and pray for your neighbors and our ministry.

What happens if it rains?

We will be walking rain or shine! If it looks like there will be a possibility of rain, bring an umbrella!

What if I can't walk that far?

We encourage everyone to come on the morning of the Walk! If you are not able to walk the 2 mile round trip route, you will still benefit from hearing the updates on our ministry from Lori Parker and take pictures with your church or fundraising team!

Will there be breakfast?

Bananas, granola bars, and water bottles will be provided. Last year’s catered breakfast was part of a unique celebration of the overturning of Roe v Wade.
