“I felt like I wanted to have an abortion because my baby’s father left me.
My neighbor was the one who told me that I could come to First Care. They gave me the pregnancy test and scheduled me to do the ultrasound. The
lady who attended to me was very kind. I changed my mind when she told me about abortion. God doesn’t want us to take the lives of someone who isn’t to blame for coming into this world, right?
When I saw the ultrasound, I was very excited to see my baby. At the same time, I was very sad because I had no idea how I was going to support this little life. And then he was premature. I am very happy to have my baby. And I am thankful every day
for him, because in the hospital they told me maybe he wouldn’t live through the night.
Sometimes we make mistakes, but little by little we move forward. Thank God, my son hasn’t suffered without diapers or clothes. I just want to say thank you because you have helped me a lot. This is a place where you are welcome and you get the help you need.”
